A visit to Shobdon Food Festival today was well worth a visit and was well attended. The weather was kind and stayed dry. A well organised event with plenty to do and see to keep all the family entertained. There was some interesting cooking lessons demonstrating how to cook a variety of foods from mouth watering Indian food to baking bread.
In the food tent there was plenty of stalls offering tasters of local foods and drink, ranging from ciders, cakes, jams and honey, cheeses. If after wondering around and sampling some of the delights on offer there was many bespoke vendors serving good food and ample of seating to sit and relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
As well as the excellent food on offer there was plenty of entertainment for the kids, bouncy castles, and diplays by local groups.
If you couldn't make it for this years Shobdon Food Festival I would recommend that you make a note in your diary for next year or sign up for our newsletter and we will notify you when this event next occurs.
