Garway Hill Common - View 7 Counties surrounding Herefordshire from the View Point

Garway is a small village southwest of Herefordshire. Garway Hill Common is a prominent local landmark and rises to about 1200 feet. The hill its self is an easy walk with a gradual slope on grass. Grazing on the common you will find ponies and sheep and it has been recorded that 70 species of birds are in the area .

From the top of Garway common you have fantastic panoramic views of 7 counties surrounding Herefordshire. The Black mountains are very prominent. So dont for get to take your camera for some superb photographs.

On a clear day you can view the Bristol Channel.

I would recommend staying up at Garway until sunset in the Autumn months as the sunsets are just stunning as shown in the video below.
