Hay Bluff actually runs across the back of the mountain, and the Offa’s Dyke Path follows its route. It is the northern most tip of the Black mountains,  the views are spectacular on a clear day. To the west you have a superb view of Twmpa, and in the distance, the Brecon Beacons. The mountain is very popular with hangliding and glider enthusiasts when conditions are good for these sport.

After building up a healthy appetite from a good days walking, pop into Hay-on-Wye town and visit one of the friendly Hay-on-Wye pubs for a refreshing drink or one of the restaurants in Hay-on-Wye for a hearty meal

When you are in Hay-on-Wye town find Forest road and you will easily come across Hay Bluff, plenty of free parking at the base.
