HEREFORDSHIRE experienced its hottest day of the year yesterday (Wednesday) as the temperature soared to 93F. Early evening we decided to take a trip over to the Skirrid to get some amazing views, we guessed that with the clear sky and little haze we would get some long and far reaching views across the surrounding countryside. We wasn't disappointed.
The dramatic landmark of Skirrid Fawr is the last outcrop of the Black Mountains. Enjoy an exhilirating walk to its summit to discover spectacular views in every direction, a landscape rich in history and woodlands full of wildlife.
